Agentic Engineering in Financial Services

Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming software delivery. With tools such as Claude Code and increasingly agent-driven development workflows, financial institutions are beginning to explore opportunities that extend far beyond coding assistance. Questions around governance, architecture, operating models, talent, and strategic value creation are becoming increasingly relevant.

Together with our member ELCA, SFTI invites senior decision-makers and experts from banks, insurance companies, software providers, and the broader financial services ecosystem to an Emerging Topics Exchange on the future of agentic engineering.

The event combines practical insights from industry experts with an interactive panel discussion to explore what is already possible today, what remains hype, and what financial institutions should start preparing for. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the opportunities, limitations, and strategic implications of AI-supported software delivery in a regulated environment.
