With the cooperation between SIX and Finnova announced today, the Swiss financial center is not only taking another big step towards Open Banking. This collaboration will also significantly increase the relevance of SIX’s underlying Open Banking platform bLink once again. Another key success factor on this path is the consistent focus on standardized interfaces, the so-called APIs: The bLink APIs are all based on the standardization recommendations of the SFTI trade association, which has assumed the role of central voting body for the Swiss financial center. As part of a market-driven approach, the foundations for new, innovative and end-customer-focused services are thus jointly created.
