HSG Fintech Summit 2025

At this year’s HSG Fintech Summit, Stefan Neumann and Patrik Schmid will present their project “Bridging the AI PoC – Production Gap – Keys to Deployment Success in the Swiss Financial Industry.” Their session will address one of the most pressing challenges for banks and insurers: why so many artificial intelligence initiatives succeed in proof-of-concept phases but struggle to move into production. Drawing on findings from their research, they will outline the key factors for turning pilots into scalable solutions, from governance and infrastructure to business case alignment and organizational readiness. The talk aims to provide financial institutions with practical strategies to overcome the so-called “pilot purgatory” and unlock real value from AI.
